Yup.. its my birthday alrite... n boy.. what a normal day it has been. The only thing special was that i got to eat sakae for lunch and canton-i for dinner... n had to wait like 30 mins in the car till dad gets here. Boy was he slow! walking out from the plane... = = took him lk ages just to get up the stairs to mcd! oh ya.. we had an ice cream cake yesterday.. ah mah's birthday... thank god our birthdays are just one day after the other..

so turning 20... n how does it feel?? AWFUL! First of all, everyone's been reminding me that i'm no more a teen, which hurts me deeply... i mean come on! enough already! i know i'm old.. get over with it.. u guys are gonna be that age soon... not as if i'm gonna die first or something like that!

And of cause second of all... no friends to celebrate with.. okok.. wq did come by and we had lunch together. and ya.. that was pretty much it! yup... how lonely was that? well dad did treat me for canton-i, forcing me to eat lk...... THIS MUCH! n wow.. i don't think i'm gonna have breakfast tmr! (btw, the pigeon's meat was very interesting...)

and third of all... ok.. how many people are getting BF's and GFs now??? oh pls.. stop it already! FUCK IT! i want someone special by my side well.... oh come on... who doesn't?? even ROD wants someone special by his side (Rod's this gay republican from avenue q if you are wondering). Whn will he come on by? or rather will he ever come on by? falling in love with one dude last year nearly tore my heart into a TRILLION PIECES! oh come on! i've been wishing for a guy to be able to be by my side through out uni, so WHERE THE HELL IS HE??!!

maybe i should write a letter to god... u know.. telling him how terrible i feel right now, not having that special someone by my side. N seeing almost everyone having one!!! God... u know i'm 20 today right? so whn will that Prince show up??? m i gonna have to wait? or is he the one? or he's never gonna show up is he??? oh pls just give me a sign b4 i head back to aus. Otherwise my head will be full of dreamy pictures again. If u see this.. PLS HELP ME!! i just need a sign... a CLEAR sign to know....

Legally Blonde the musical

And the musical for today... LEGALLY BLONDE!!! okok.. i know lots of you must have watch this show before. It even came up with a sequel, but hey... the musical ain't that bad.. infact u can watch the whole entire show on utube! isn't that great?

ok.. so its about this blonde girl, elle who well, boyfriend broke up with her cause she's this "stupid blonde". And to prove to him that she isn't all that stupid, she got her way into harvard law school... (how i wish i could be in there.. yeah right!) and well the whole love story just starts from there.

The musical is presented in a very comedy kind of way. You'll be laughing and smiling your way through the show. Besides that, the lovy-duvy part is as romantic as it can be. So, add comedy and romance into a musical and you get... AN AWESOME SHOW TO WATCH!

And here's the first part of the show, to the song OH MY GOD!!! where elle and her girls picks out a dress as she thinks her bf is gonna propose to her... XD its one of my fav songs so enjoy!!

Almost there~

Oh my, its the 21st of july.... my how time flies. Just with a blink of an eye, and i'm gonna leave my house once again. And well, i might not be coming back for a while after that.

Anyway, that's not important. what's more important is that.. oh i don't even know how to say this. To you young people out there, you might think that finally being a grown up is WONDERFUL!! FREEDOM! well, infact, its not. All those wonderful things that you were thought whn u were young, you know, to dream hard and your dreams will come true, just believe in yourself cause everyone's speacial. you know, stuff like that. Well whn you finally grow up and step into the real world, you'll fianlly realise that growing up isn't all about fun n games, it isn't about dreams and hope... no its nothing like that at all. infact, if you were told that how the real world was like, you would never want to grow up.

And me, finally turning 20.. leaving my teen age years, i don feel old, i just feel that, well more and more suffering is coming my way.  20... feels lk a whole new life is about to start. Facing it its hard, but what else can you do? one more week till i get there, i really hope that that day never comes... oh who am i kidding? i just don wanna face the real world so fast. What happened to the times where your parents were there to back you up for everything. They were there whenever u need thm. they were there whn u need a hug, or just an ear.

20.. big change. I can feel it, its coming.. and i'm almost there. Good luck Regi!!! Go out there and get what you want! (if i can)

Shrek the Musical

ok.. and the musical i'm gonna intro today is.... that's right.. SHERK THE MUSICAL!!! never heard of it huh?

Well, let's say if you're not in the states thn there a high chance that you'll have no idea that there is a Musical version of Sherk. We all know the show Sherk, 1,2,3 and 4. And we all know that the 4th show is the last, but the musical is simply.. AMAZING!!! it even got nominated for a tony award in 2009 (didn't win cause billy eliot took almost everything last year) anyway, it's truly wonderful. The story's basically based on the first show, with all your fav. characters like Sherk, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Lord Farquad and of cause, the lovely Pinocchio. 

the story is exactly as what you get in the first show, only with a touch of musical sensation in it! With songs like Big Bright Beautiful World, Morning Person, the Ballad of Farquad and yes, who could forget the most amazing song sung by all the fairy tale creatures, FREAK FLAG! Adding on its amazing special effects put together on stage, this truly is a remarkable musical.

And how did i get to know this musical?? John tartaglia of cause.. LOL! yes i know.. i'm starting to fall in love with this 32 year old gay dude, this guy is just so talented! anyway, he plays the role of Pinocchio, the so call "leader of the fairy tale creatures", but he too plays parts like the magic mirror as well does all the puppetry work in the show, including the big dragon! yes.. the huge dragon is controlled by him... isn't it AWESOME?? Suton Foster, who plays the role of princess fiona, is also another one amazing actress on stage! yes she is!!! she just brings the whole musical to laughter! now we all know that fiona's not your typical ordinary princess, the Foster just plays the role so well!

The entire musical is filled with joy and laughter, with a moral line to it "just be yourself, and people will accept for who you are, cause everyone.. is a FREAK!" so LET YOUR FREAK FLAG FLY PEOPLE! RAISED THAT FLAG WAY UP HIGH!

Avenue Q

ok.. looks like i didn't introduced Avenue Q in here, that must have been my FB.. well then.. let me introduce... a R-rated musical.. combining puppetry and fun music... AVENUE Q!!!!

U definitely can't get this show in Mal... i mean our country's so closed minded. So the only way u get to watch this show is only through u tube... u've just gotta watch the whole show! quality might not be good but still... its so NICE and FUNNY!!! Avenue Q! a must watch!

So, about the musical, this story takes place in new york city. Yup, your everyday busy city, in a small suburb called Avenue Q (avenue A would be the highest priced town.. follwed by B C and so on). So A freshly new graduate Princeton (the orange guy in the pic) has just Graduated from college, earning a B.A in English, and starts seeking his own life, or Purpose. He lands himself in avenue Q and be neighbours with the other residents in the apartment, Kate monster(the short hair girl puppet in the pic) Rod (the blue guy), Nikky( the green dude), Trekkie monster (the one holding the sign), Christmas Eve(the chinese lady), Brian (the white guy) and yes our most famous beloved child star Gary Coleman (the one with the cap on). Oh ya, and there's Lucy the Slut (the blond hair girl).

So, Princeton is a fresh graduate, Kate monster's a Kindergarten teaching assistant, Rod's a Republican investment banker (who happens to be gay as well), Nicky the jobless and homeless dude (who sleeps in the same apartment as Rod), Brain and Christmas Eve both husband and wife, Trekkie Monster who's life just revolves around Porn, Lucy the night club singer who's always into one night stands, and there's Gary Coleman, the one who takes care of the apartment. All having different problems of their own, trying to find their purpose in life.

What makes this musical unique is that it uses SESAME STREET style and instead of teaching children ABC, they teach adults how to face the real world. For those who are just stepping out from university or college and starting life of your own, this is a GOOD musical to watch as u'll learn a lot from it! But in a funny and happy way of cause.

Its such a funny musical, you'll definitely be laughing your ass off while watching the show. Songs like "It Sucks to be Me", "Everyone's a little bit racist", "Fantasies come True", "If you were gay" and much more are all hilarious songs just to listen to. Adding on the most watched video/song on youtube "the internet is for Porn" is even a PLUS to watch this show!



NOTE: if you're below the age of 16.. DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO.. i repeat.. DO NOT WATCH!!! and ya.. i just Trekkie and Rod in the show... LOL... how i wish i could be a puppeteer and play the part of Kate or Rod one day.. LOL

Oh ya.. did i mentioned it won BEST MUSICAL in the 2004 TONY AWARDS??? LOL.. just go see it!! 

Johnny AndThe Sprites

I know this is crazy for me.. or for people my age... i mean.. oh well... i just LOVE this show!!! maybe i should really start taking up puppetry...

Remember once i introduced the musical Avenue Q?? I fell in love with the puppets.. and i found out that John Tartaglia... the main actor that does Rod and Princeton in avenue q produced and Stars in this show as well! and the Sprites are so CUTE!!!

Here's the theme song for the 2nd season of the show... the show's airing on playhouse disney 12am everyday (in malaysia only). yea.. i know.. its playhouse disney.. so what??? the songs he sings are so NICE! just love him!! too bad he's gay.. LOL... i don't mind anyway.. XD

Singapore Trip

As i'm typing this... i have to say... I'M SICK!!! yes i am!! sick i tell u! *actually i feel so much better compared to yesterday*

And how did i get sick? First reason... my dad, yeah, he was sick since last saturday. And the second reason?? thanks to the BLOODY HOT weather in Singapore... yes u heard me, we went to singapore for a family vacation, and ended up falling sick.. everyone of us!

Flew right down to singapore, and boy... how bad the trip was. Touched down on saturday, and went shopping. Actually we just walked around the mall and that was it! everything in there was exactly like what u'll get at home! honestly!! i rather shop in qb, at least that's closer to my house! and the price... omg.. its exactly the same price as what u'll get in AUS!!! WTH! but still managed to buy 2 blouse there, in a very cheap store. everything was on sale in there, inface, it was up to 80%! how could u resists that?! oh ya b4 that, we took the MRT, something lk LRT to our hotel, and boy.. stupid train station. How many announcement can they make??? Reminding people to be be careful, to watch out for weird things, asking thm to make way... OH COME ON! SHUT UP ALREADY!!! can u stop repeating that?? IN AND OUTSIDE THE TRAIN???!!! urgh! even if my mom were to do that i would have shut her up. well too bad i didn't know where the speakers were, or else.

Next day, we went to the flyer. Singapore flyer that is. U know, the big ferriest wheel? ya, that big thing. Went up, came back down, and headed off to the casino. Bad luck... nearly got blacklisted by thm. all thanks to my MOM! tried crashing in but, how strict could this singapore people be??? There are like, tons of security guards waiting out there, just to check every single thing down to the very last detail. Hey come on' i'm 20!! n u'd need to be 21 to get in?? wtf!!! even in aus u just need to be 18 to walk in! wat a terrible country it is i should say. and at nite, we went on this curise ship. some sort of china kind of ship?? ya.. and had buffet dinner on board. which was... ok... not EXCELLENT.. but ok.. nearly got sea sick on the boat. seriously! I mean by the time we got back to the hotel... i vomited.. MY DINNER!!!! oh.. wat a waste!

And finally monday... UNIVERSAL STUDIOS here i come! so we headed off to sentosa island. and wow wee.. i was finally excited for once! got in... n wow.. the streets, the decorations, the props, the people.. it was just like a mini disney land!!! and thn,, the sun had to be so hot! so BLOODY HOT! and the next thing, almost all the rides weren't ready yet!! WTH??!!! esspecially the BIG roller coaster!!! Saw it from out side and now they say its not running???!!! wth!!! oh man! wat a BIG disappointment! The best ride i sat in there was the LOST MUMMY ride. wow that was fun.. kinda like space mountain u get in disneyland, only the theme's kinda different. I mean, it's called THE LOST MUMMY right? but it was so much fun! the best ride compared to the rest...

And for the rest of the day, we watched all the shows in there. u know, lk water shows, musicals and stuff.. oh ya SHREK4D was AWSOME!!! totally COOL!!! i mean, come on.. i'm a BIG.. i mean HUGE fan of SHREK! (all thanks to John Tartaglia's acting in Sherk the musical) and wow! finally.. we got to see Lord Farquad! AGAIN! cool!! and the effects and stuff. and donkey's sneezing.. oh.. maybe because of that i'm sick right now... oh well.. it was totally AWSOME! oh ya, and donkey's musical.. his night club.. was so COOL!! ya... i think someone's behind operating the animated donkey on screen... wonder where all the hiden camera's are. I mean, the animated donkey was actually talking to the audience! too bad he didn't talk to me.. T.T but still .. he's joke were PRICELESS! couldn't stop laughing.. AT ALL!that was so cool!!

Sherk 4d~

and Moster Rock the musical was so COOL! although it was not a pure full musical but still, the songs they sang... OH MY GOD!!! i was shaking my head n tapping my feet, and began smilling! i mean... almost all the songs were lk.. TOP HIT SONGS! how can u not love that??!! and at the end of the day, i bought a POTION BOTTLE! yeah, i'm using it right now! it so cute!! oh ya... we even got to take photos with all the characters there, i mean there wasn't much left to do so... aw Pussin' Boots! You're Amazing!!! I mean it! The coolest cat ever!

Monster Rock

and the next day, after having dim sum with dad's friend and visiting the Buddha's Tooth temple.. we headed off to the airport.. and should say, its actually the first time i wanted to go home so badly!!! after a trip!!! yes i did!! wanted to go home n just sleep... and watched Johnny and the Sprites! LOL....

and so as today, i'm stuck home.. sick.... yea, once we reached home, mom n i got the cold form dad. and so... well.. let's just say the whole family's on the same medication right now. Hope to get well soon... i hate being sick.. especially lk this... i can't sing! oh well... back to resting... T.T

Back in Penang

Yes I M!! finally back in penang.. and wow!!! What an awsome holiday i'm having..

B4 that, kylyn came over to mel for her 1 week vacation, right after my exams! which was so much fun!!! we did lots and lots of shopping!!! wonder how much i spent that week... hmm.. anyway it was so much fun! and i went back to pg, the same day she went back to syd, which we both went to the airport together!! COOL!

so ok, touched down in penang and went straight to genting one night after that.. yup... unbelievable huh?? Nai jeen, me, jia xian, min jie and hooi nee all went up there n had super fun... well not really.. due to the bus condition i didn't really had enough sleep.. so i ended up having a big headache the next day... unable to play most of the games.. but at least i got to play spacea shot and typhoon.. still not feeling happy about missing out the cyclone ride.. i really wanted to take that ride!! Anyway, i was so tired that i went of to bed SUPER SUPER SUPER early... but when i woke up.. i found nai nai.. sleeping on top of me!!! ya that's right.. 5 people squeezing into two single sized bed... terrible!! and the worst thing was!! it was nai nai herself that made me slept at the edge of the bed!! oh god! But still next morning.. we shopped around and me and nai nai.. having the urge of wanting to ride "superman" so badly that... we decided to go on it! 1 hour b4 the bus leaving time.. luckyly we made it in time.. cool huh???

anyway. so i'm back in penang, and wei-qing comes out from ipoh for the next 4 days... and another awsome week we had... went walking around.. doing our hairs at our aunt's place.. and... we even had a gethering wtih the other form 6 girls! (nai nai, min chiet, jia xian, pei yee and ying duo) my wat fun we had! i still remember how BAD our maths were!! we couldn't count out the moeny that's we're surpose to return to each other... my gosh!! have u ever counted money between your friends till the whole mall closes?? and had to head off somewhere else to continue that work?? we sure did!!! and my.... how terrible that was!

And after that, spent my last few days with nai jeen. Went to my favorite pasar malam! n spent so much there! omg.. i just love spedning money don't i?? we treated each other coffee as well (me strabucks, she coffee bean) and the best thing was.. we went to NEWAY! AWESOME!!! and another surprise from the HSC gang! Ding rang me up... and told me they were in qb.. the exact same time when me n nai nai were having our Lovy-budy "date" and guess who i saw... CKK, JEAN YEAN, DING, HONG LEE and best of all.. blur blur MELISA!!! yup.. still as blur as ever... LOL.. can't believe she's the exact girl that we last saw two years ago... still that blur... LOL

So last saturday, results were out... and THANK GOD i passes EVERYTHING!!! actually.. i got a D and a C for designing and two P's for my EN subject, well that's wat u get for not studying for one whole week in the winter... but still thank god i pass!!! ALL

and last nite... wat fun we had!! cousins all meeting up... whole family reunion... celebrating Sarah's farewell.. and MY BIRTHDAY??? ya.. i know my birthday's not here yet but still.. wanted ot celebrate it so baely with sarah that well my aunt's and uncle's all made that came true!!! had steamboat... where the "boat" was at the adults table... and me.. and sarah.. stuck at the kids table.. waiting for the adults to serve us.... LOL... finally someone to serve us.. isn't that cool?? got great gifts as well.. wasn't really expecting gifts from everyone but ... THANK GUYS!!! ah... lovely nite...
