Happy New Year!!!!

So.. let's kick start this new year with this post shall we?? Now i know it's still new years eve but... just to share with everyone.... and hope mine and everyone's wishes and dreams come true for the new year.... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

When cousins collide

So this years' Christmas wasn't so "christmasy" after all, as aunty jen wasn't around to cook up a fist for us, and wai kit had landed himself in the hospital for the sake of eating too much!

Well, it started of with my break on 23rd when nai nai happen to come over and have a sleep over with me the night before, so we decided to go to Neway for a karaoke session. Didn't manage to sing a lot of songs but it turned out pretty well. Mom even treated us for lunch at Winter Warmers... which was so cool!! Ever thought of tasting British style like food?? Well this is the place to enjoy!! With cute tea cups and pots, fill yourself up with some amazing english tea!

The next day, well dad took leave so..... yup, he destroyed your shopping fun time! We followed him everywhere except shopping and ended up not really doing anything the whole day. We only had dinner at somewhere near grandma's place, not really sure what the shop names is but is the japanese shop with the big red cat on it.... yea.. we had our christmas eve dinner there and that was pretty much it! Christmas eve... gone!

And so christmas day... was like even more boring as we really didn't do anything. Except for visiting wai kit at night. Hell knows what he ate that ended him up in there.... but yeah, he was looking fine. Ain't that a weird way to celebrate christmas?

Anyway, so i met up with one cousin on christmas day, and on boxing day... i met up with the rest! yes yes.. was so happy to finally see sarah again!!! After hearing her complaining about ramlee burgers and uni work... finally, she's back in penang.. for one week!! Argh, who cares how long she's back, as long as i get to see her again! My how much had her hair grown! Yup, she's starting to look more lk the young sarah i hung out with when i was 5 or 6... XD ain't that cute??? And of cause got to meet up with my aunt's and uncles and pei wern.. who complained about school about to start and little juhn kit who was playing PSP all day long!

So yup, that was basically how i spent my break... next break i'll be having is when new years comes along... that's when i'll be blogging in kl.... so see you guys there!!! XD KL here i come.. again.

Tangled

So sunday was like a good day for me... even though we had been "looked down" by a bloody policeman that wasn't really working at all, I mean, he's a police for heaven sakes! Don't just stand there and show as if you hate your job, look at us... and start nagging at us for nothing just because we just asked you to make the road move!! MAN!!! I've never seen such stupid people before... Actually, I kinda did!! This place is just full of STUPID people who think they are so GREAT!! especially those with HIGH RANKING!! What kind of people are they??

Anyway, at least we gotta watch tangled... yes yes!! Mom got like tons of free ticket at GSC for us to use, so TANGLED it was!! XD So about the show, FANTASTIC!! I mean come on, it's a disney show!!! And I'm a disney freak.. how the hell can i say it stinks?? Well, maybe i can if it does really stinks.. but with Rupenzel's long wonderful magical hair, flyn's and maximus' humor, a not really evil step mother, romantic story line, wonderful score (as it was written by Alan Maken.. OMG i love this guy) I mean, who wouldn't say that the show was AWSOME!!!

This show has just made itself into my top 3 list of best disney shows!! I've never listed a pixar show in my top 3 list as i don't really like how pixar does stuff to the original disney. Tangled how ever, now i can say pixar did a terrific job with it! And i didn't even watch the show in 3d. And if i did, i would have gave it a higher ranking!! XD No seriously, the effects and all... just simply amazing!!!

So, wanting to find a family show?? GO WATCH THIS ONE!!! It's disney and it's a PREFECT show for the family!! Really it is... from laughter to tears to laughter once more, disney has just done it again!!! Bringing hopes and dreams to everyone!!

Completion of Year 2

Yes Yes! I have just completed year 2 of uni!! Isn't it amazing?? I passed all my subjects! Actually i got a D for electronics and two Cs for materials and machine! AMAZING!!! the only thing was PDE.. was kinda expecting a C but... the group project kinda screwed up my marks... oh well, at least i don't have to see "HER" again! I'm so happy!!! XD

So.. as a treat... dad brought me n mom to TGI friday! Isn't that amazing??!! It sure was!! we had such a good meal there!!! And we started shopping around for christmas presents... took us lk nearly 4 hours just walking around.. finding the right gifts and all...  and we still couldn't get everyone a present!

And as for me... i'm considering between an iphone 4 or a camera... i really want the camera.. but it's just lk carrying an extra GUN around. I mean, i already have and iphone, and my nokia phone....and the camera would be an extra! But iphone 4 is just so lousy!!! I don't really want the new iphone 4... it doesn't really meet my expectations.. oh gosh.. which one would be better??? a camera?? or a phone?? i really can't decide.... it has its pros and cons in it.. i really really really can't decide!!!

And to say i support the "1 malaysia concept"...... BULLSHIT!!!  With people like these running around the streets, this damn country is gonna just fall and official call itself bankrupt soon! They estimated that malaysia is gonna be bankrupt by the year 2015... well HELL YA IT WILL!!! With idiots walking around, sucking money out of us like like leaches, oh ya, they're definitely gonna die soon....

Back to my real story. I was driving my car from my uncle's place, happily home cause i was gonna get a new hair cut soon, when all of a sudden, while i was waiting at the junction to cut out (cause a HUGE lory just happened to drove by), this stupid WIRA came hitting me from behind. Of yes he did!!! Right at the back!

Mom told me to let dad handled it, so i did. So i was just sitting in the driver's seat, looking out at the side mirror seeing what was gonna happen, and the first thing i saw was the bloody driver coming out, pointing directly at me (the middle finger that is). Well, you don't expect me to sit in there like a fool and not defend myself now do you?? So i steped out, to see how much damaged did this guy do to my car, oh hell ya, the made a HOLE in my car.. a really HUGE HOLE!! not a scratch.. it was a HOLE!!!! And you know the first thing i heard him say... "KAMU NI BODOH KA?! JUNCTION MESTI STOP PUNYA KA?" translation "ARE YOU DUMP??? YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO STOP AT THE JUNCTION!"

OMG!! Who the hell gave him his driving license?!! It's a turning junction and you have to at least slow down to let cars by before you cut out!! now u come banging into my car, and u call me dump!!!??? I was so angry my my brain was like "SLAP HIM IN THE FACE!! NO ONE CALLS YOU DUMP!" but my heart was like "his a guy, don't do it"

So i ended up kicking his right light, since it was broken anyway, and it wasn't that hard.... and wow, his wife... jumped out of the car, and started shouting at me, together with him. Saying she could call a lawyer to sue me and also i didn't think of the kid in the car!! and right at that moment.. her husband raised his leg and kicked my car back!! Oh ya, i didn't think of the kid in the car, who was the bloody one to step right out of the car and pointed and started shouting at me??!! U think just because i'm young and i'm a girl i'm that scared??!! I really wanted to slap both couples when my aunt came out to stop me. And that's when i saw my mom taking photos of both cars. My dad was arguing with the guy for me of cause, i started giving a "lecture" to his wife. When i saw that guy nearly threw my dad's phone onto the ground, i gave an even LONGER lecture to his wife!!! Asking her to handle her husband!!! Of cause, she started going into a panic stage when she started calling up someone (we all assume it was her lawyer, which didn't even bother to pick up... HAHA!) and i was giving her bigger pressure, giving her longer lectures.

So finally, my aunt manage to pull me back into the car, and we drove off to the nearest police station to make a police report. Hell ya, when the police knew i was hit from behind, he immediately asked me what insurance did i wanted to claim for... SEE.. I'm right after all!

And even better news this morning, my dad, went searching for his car in the traffic police database system, and he found out that that car was BLACKLISTED!!! Ha! That's an even bigger laugh! No wonder they were so stressed out. Well who asked you to choose the wrong car to bang on??!! And choose the wrong driver to yelled at??!! Since christmas and new year is coming soon, let me just wish you, and hope that luck may be on MY side... and hope you have a terrible year... FOREVER that is....

Anyway, i managed to get my hair done, and it turned out to be GREAT!!! Loving the new colour my aunt picked out for me. XD And of cause, i told everyone about the incident, called up and texted my friends around, and also posted on facebook how much i hate that horrible guy. Dad even said he insulted my race! OUR RACE that is... Who does he think he is?? Just because he is one F**king malay doesn't mean He owns the whole world now does he??!

I say if USA can have a black person to rule their country, i say we CAN have a YELLOW person to rule ours!!!! Let there be equality in our country like USA!! No more racist stuff, no more stupid idiotic people like them, thinking that they are the BEST in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Wake up people, you're in Malaysia, a developING country, and not a developED one..  go on, act like idiots, and see what kind of future you guys get, cause i'm getting out of here!!! Stupid people.

Day 3 and 4 in KL... and back to Penang

Ok.. so i kinda forgotten to update my blog last night, was watching live streaming of "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade". I know i don't celebrate thanksgiving, i think only the americans do so, but it's still fun to watch the parade. I mean, everyone's favorite cartoon/childhood character was there. Including my most fav SNOOPY!!!! XD  Yes yes!! Snoopy appeared as a BIG BALLOON!! omg, how cute was that??!!

Anyway, back to my KL trip. So, day 3.... went shopping at one utama, and bought a pair of shoes. My so call "working shoes" that is. Forgotten to take a picture of it before putting them on, but the shoes my mom brought over from penang were KILLING me! So no choice, i had to put them on the moment i bought them. To describe them, there are like those flat shoes where teenagers like wearing these days, yeah, they were actually FLAT! (Dad said i needed flats to walk around the factory). It's peach or so called "skin" coloured, as what i know, (that is the trend colour right now) with a striped bow on top. Overall, i would give it a 3 star as it's FLAT! i hate flat shoes... as a short person i still perfer shoes with heals... but anyway, no choice.

I bought two shirts as well with dad's credit card, and boy his face was so SOUR the minute i actually swiped it. Well the total was around rm101 so... what else do you expect? XD  Still, i'm gonna be buying more, not now though, cause i have not a single clue what should i wear for work!!! I don't even know should i be shopping for work clothes or just ordinary college clothings!!?? What do you think I should buy?

And what else did i do?? Oh ya, went of visiting my uncle (Kao Kong) there. His house was like 5 min away from the hotel. I really didn't expected his house to be just right behind the hotel, i knew he was staying somewhere near there but i had no idea it was really that near. So we got to his place, had a small chat, waited for his dauther-in-law to come back (aunty dorine) so we all could go out and have dinner. Talking about dinner, that was like the BEST DINNER i had since coming back to malaysia! Seriously!! Dad spent like rm44 for two vegetarian dishes which would have only cost rm18 back in our hometown! Which obviously means that.... NEVER LET MEN ORDER THE FOOD!! or for this case, my dad. Dinner was like, SO GOOD! even thought it was cheap, but it was so good!! Curry tou fu, deer's meat, fried yam.. omg.. what more can you ask for???!!

Ok, so that was day 3... and day 4.. we went back to ikea for the 3rd time!! dad really wanted to buy a kitchen counter top and wanted mom's approval so.... yea.. 3rd time in ikea. I wanted to rush of to borders to read that book of mine but dad was like.. "NO!" man, why can't i just go of and do some stuff on my own!? So had to followed him, walking around the store, listening to them talking about what design and what counter top should they get. I'm the designer of the house, and they don't even wanna listen to my advise.. so... why bother even listening to them arguing over a counter top in the end anyway? And all i did was like, stood there, looking at the catalog. Turning pg by pg, looking for new design inspirations. (i'm still thinking of designing even it's a holiday now.. something must be wrong with me!)

So after shopping at ikea, we rushed back home... and now.. i just reached home. Mom didn't trust my driving skills so i sat at the back, dreaming my way back home... at least i didn't had to think much. XD And now, i'm finally back home in my room... warm n cozy... ah.. my BLUE ROOM! how nice is that? So relaxing, so cooling... so.... ah~ I just love it here... with my car parked outside. Can't wait to drive my baby tmr. It's been a while but, i don't care, I'm definitely gonna drive it... soon... or before i start work. I have to, i'm not gonna wait till my mom fetch me home from the factory! by the time she finishes it'll be like 9pm! I'm not gonna stay there till 9pm!!! Anyway, glad to be home. Missing aussie abit but still... IT'S SO DARN GOOD TO BE HOME!!! XD LOVE IT HERE!!

Day 2-KL

Second day in KL and how was it?? I should say pretty ok~

So, i slept really really REALLY early last night, cause i thought it was like 12am here, but fact is it was only like 9pm!!! Yeah, i was looking at my computer's clock which was still set according to the aus clock. So woke up at like 6am cause i thought it was 9, and thn only realized that i was looking at the wrong clock!!

Anyawy, went off to kl's so call "all in one" shopping place. Ikea, thn Ikano, thn The Curve... man my legs are so tired. I've never walked like that for ages!!! Got to Ikea at like 11am, and waited for like 30min cause they served lunch at that time and i didn't had any breakfast at all!! And for ikea, wow wee, i should say for a furnitre store they do serve the best food in town! I'm serious! Just go to ikea and have lunch next time. No matter what you order, it just tastes so GOOD!!! Even the curry puff i got for tea was so GOOD!!! (and dad asked me why i bought so many... he ended up eating 2 btw)

Ok, so shopping with dad wasn't really a good thing. I mean, the moment i walked into Padini, my heart went "man, he's gonna kill me if i even consider buying one of these stuffs!" So i snuck my way to Borders instead. And OMG!!! I didn't know how, but i happened to stumble upon this AWSOME book called "The Male's Brain", where the author explains how complex can a male's brain be!! i mean lets face it, we all think that the male's brain is SIMPLE as, well what a male person shows... but according to her, there is actually so much more than what meets the eye! What really caught my attention was there was this tiny sub title under the Teen Boy's chapter called "Penis Gun" (or something like that). the moment i saw that i knew that i had to read the book from begining to end! i mean, the male's brain does think more thn it should be thinking!! And SEX has dominated i think more then HALF of its brain!!!

Dad didn't wanted to buy the book for me, and he didn't wanted me to sit at Starbucks to enjoy the book. He said it was too expensive for a "stupid" book like that. Oh for heaven sakes! It's a BOOK!!!! come on... i have to read it!!! man!!! i really wanna read it! He ended up shutting me by purchasing this designer book. Quite a good book which gives lots of inspiration on Eco-friendly design, i mean, since uni wants us to go GREEN, why not buy a book that gives GREEN ideas??

 

For all designers out there, its a great book to get. So GO GET IT! XD anyway, went to ikea for the second time after mom came back from work as dad wanted to show her the kitchen cabinet top.  And by the looks of them, i have a really bad feeling that they did some upgrade to the kitchen, and it's not really good..... Oh come on, any upgrade they do when ever i'm not around isn't all that good ok? Let's just pray i don't see something awful at home. 

Oh ya, and before that, we went out and had a wonderful  expensive dinner. Yes it cost like Rm101, and thank god mom's able to claim from her company, otherwise my dad will be jumping up and down again. Hakka dinner, first time in my life actually having Hakka dishes like that. I don't even really remember the names of the dish but there was this fried rice i ordered called "lei cha fried rice" and it tasted so DULL! Its like they just took the brown rice, fried it in the hot pan, or i should say "HEAT IT UP", placed raw veges around it, and served that with "lei cha" soup which tasted awkward as well. It wasn't too salty, or too sweet or anything, it just, didn't have any taste at all! Anyway, it's still a first, glad i tried it. I always like trying new food anyway, so i'm not gonna complain that much.

And so now, i'm stuck her, gonna be sleeping on the floor tonight as mom took the side bed, and dad's never gonna sleep there. Yes, i'm making myself awfully tired tonight so once i get to bed, i would just be able to close my eyes, not think about anything and go straight to bed. That's what i hope will happen.

BTW, my blogger's picture upload function is not working properly so i'll try to upload the pictures later. Anyway, i'm signing off now, mom said i could get some new outfits for work next week, and my head's starting to spin.. damn that's a good sign.. ok guys.. good night!

Day 1- KL

Haven't slept whole night in the plane, even thought i got a "upgrade" from the middle seat to the aisle seat. Who could?? I mean, i was watching like 3 marvelous, wonderful movies (Inception, Sister Act and The Sorceress Apprentice), and also an episode of "how I met your mother". Glee was on of cause but i kinda watch whole of season 1, so i figured why not watch something else instead? And boy.... Did not regret watching those 3 shows!!! I'll be doing a review on Sister Act and Inception after this blog. Be patient guys.... XD

Ok, carrying on. I landed in KL at 5.30am... quite early huh?? Well, is not early really, IF you start your flight at 12am, including all the time difference and everything. So went out using the coach as our "sky train" was doing a so call "major upgrade", but it didn't take long to reach the other end of the terminal anyway so, not to bad.

Saw mom and dad, and i was so HAPPY until i saw something else in dad's hands... AN IPAD!!! OMG... big kuku actually helped my mom to buy an ipad all the way from aus!!! WTF!!!! And of cause, as a BIG apple fan, i started playing with it. (I still can't get my head out of it right now).

So got to the first hotel, actually i can't even remember the name of the hotel really, but all i know it was a 5 star hotel, where the people working there really treat you as if you're a RICH person. Something i've NEVER experience before! They even had to scan dad's car before he drove into the basement parking lot. Anyway, mom told me she was checking out from that hotel that afternoon so i didn't really had much of a chance to enjoy the hotel, only a 2 hour rest and that was it. So after 2 hours of sleep, i got up, washed up and went of to Pavillion with dad to have lunch. And WTH, we had lunch at "Old Town Kopitiam". I know, the toast is not all that bad right? I mean that's their signature dish anyway, and one of the dishes i like best!!

Checked out from that hotel and drove all the way to damensara, (the 2nd hotel-One World). And we used like 1 hour plus to get our butt here!!! Dad got lost half way cause of the traffic and stupid road designs kl have. And worst of all, it was raining!!! so heavily!!! The roads even started flooding!!! Now who the hack came up with such a lousy road design??!!! Oh god.

After checking into the second hotel, mom rushed back to work, and me and dad just went walking around 1 utama. Yes One Utama is right next to One World so we just walked. Didn't had the mood to shop as i was so tired, and One Utama is like so HUGE!!!! Man my feet are so sore right now, and my legs, and my brain.....

Had dinner at Wong Kok and man, are they trying to copy Kim Gary??? It doesn't really taste good ya know??? the old menu didn't tasted good and so does the new one. How can they just copy Kim Gary's menu???!!! EWW....

Ok, that's it, i can't think anymore... i really need to head of to bed.. i'll be blogging more tmr thn... after i catch up on my sleep that is... GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!! And to those who are still in aus... I MISS YOU GUYS!!! XD (oh ya.. nai nai found out my secret finally so.... SURPRISE!! i'm not in pg anyway so... no point telling her so much right?? LOL) Good Night guys!!

Going home~ Again~

Today's the day, i'm almost pack n ready to head home, well short off. I still need to change b4 my flight and stuff. Just hoping some "monthly girly thing" doesn't come.

Anyway, will be stopping by at kl for this week. Mom's having a seminar over there, and good thing because we have free hotels to stay in. And best off all, they're all 5 stars hotels!!! So even if i have my "girly" thing, i can enjoy it in the comfort of a hotel.. *YUCKS*

So, excited to be going home?? HELL YA!!! but just thinking about the day where i have to start working, just makes me.... SICK!!! ya, i don wanna work. i wanna have fun!!! But at least i'll get my degree on time. Who knows? Maybe i'll like it......???

And so, i'll be blogging about my adventures of an industrial trainee, and hope to let you all know what working life is all about. Is the first time I have a proper job like so, and i'm not hopping to screw things up. Anyway, will be kinda interesting letting you all know about my working life won't it?? XD I'll be blogging this in my other blog, which i'll set up later, so hope you guys stay tune..... I'll post up a link in fb as well so that more people will know how interesting working life can be.

Ok, gotta run, and don't worry, i'll be still here blogging my fav. Musicals and Movies or even any new Tv shows that i find interesting and am willing to keep a memory of it. See you guys back in penang. Hope to blog in kl if i get internet access.

Julie and Julia (2009)

I was up whole night, lending my bed to Tina, since she has to work at 5.45am this morning, so what i did was watched "Julie and Julia". Thought it was gonna be one of those shows were i would just shut it off right after 30 min, but instead, I actually watched the whole thing. No wonder it was nominated for an oscar. It's WONDERFUL!

I'm still a big fan of musicals, really I am! but this show is just wonderful. Seeing how "Julie" is this woman, who really is just your ordinary typical working housewife, goes to work from 9 to 5, and comes back and has a boring life style, and being able to be so determine just doing something that she likes so much, that's really an inspirational show. She sets herself a dateline, to cook up 500 over recipes from her favorite person "Julia"  in 365 days, and writes a blog about it, and finds out how much they have in common , and how determine she is to set her dreams, even though her mom didn't really agree on the subject at first, but she made it in the end, and managed to come up with this fantastic cook book! Just like her idol!!

This is really a touching and inspiring story to watch. Maybe i should start coming up with a blog of some short. Not to say this blog is not working, i mean after all this blog is like my journal after all, writing stuff on how i feel and things like that. Ya, maybe i should have an open blog where everyone could read it, and write about movies I've seen. That's a good way to spend my summer holiday. XD

 

Just watch the show, you'll love it!! And if you like cooking or eating, you're definitely gonna love this show.  Thumbs up!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1

Exams are finally over!! YOHOO!!! no more finals.. for now that is. Anyway, what better things to do then to watch a prefect HARRY POTTER movie with ur good friend after a stressful 3 days exams. XD

Now about the show, yes we did went all the way to glen waverley. Took me like one hour plus just to get there, but it was all worth it. Got nice seats to watch the show as well. Of cause we did! the cinema has like a show every single hour!! how can u not get a good show???

So, about the show, well its pretty good. Actually really much better thn the ones before. I mean, at least they didn't really cut out the important parts this time. You know how harry potter is, they keep cutting out parts that u really wanna watch, and make u so frustrated that you wanna kill the show, and say "thank god i read the book". Well, since they cut the show into two parts, its pretty much a good show this time, all the expected parts were there, and the actors did a pretty amazing job.

And yes, teh most important reason why the show is wonderful, Tom Felton!!! yeah!! finally, he has more scenes compared to the previous shows!! oh come on, he's so dreamy, good looking, and don't you just take pity on Draco Malfoy?? a young teenager that ends up in this mess up world because of his parents?? XD Although he doesn't has many lines, but still, just being able to watch him appear on big screen like so.... ITS FANTASTIC!!! 

Tina's sleeping over at my place tonite because she has to work early tmr. yea, 5.45am!! who the hell works at that time?? (she does..) so gaven up my bed for her till 6am. I'm gonna sleep at 6am. Actually, i usually sleep at 6am don't I? Whenever there's no classes the next day.. XD

Watch the show!! watch the show!! XD Now i can't wait for part 2... "Curse you for being so good harry potter! Curse you!!" (seems like i'm cursing every show no matter how good or bad it is... XD)

"You're a Good Man Charlie Brown"... So what if charlie brown is this unlucky guy that can't never fly a kite or can't manage to get the "little red hair girls" attention? Charlie Brown is this 5 year old kid that just doesn't gives up. He's kind heart-ed, loving, caring, and owns the worlds coolest dog... SNOOPY!!!

This musical manages to send out a msg that happiness, is just what you think it is. It might just as simple as tie-ing your shoes, or it may be as complicated as love. It might be your first car, or just your first walking step. No matter what it is, happiness is always around you and you just change your perspective, or as we say "point of view". "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" contains joyful, yet meaning songs in its musical. A dash of laughter with a pinch a love. This is one good revival that Broadway manged to bring back. The animated version is even lovely as the voices are much closer to 5 year old kids comparing to Broadway, which characters are mostly played by "grown" people. Anyway how, both are interesting to watch and listen to.

We all know the song "home on the range".. i mean, for heaven sakes we've been forced to sing it in kindergarten, but just look at how these guys make the song so interesting! Lovely!!



Here is one of the songs which the original and animated version doesn't contain. "My new Philosophy" (the other song is "Beethoven Day")sung by the lovely Christine Chenoweth.



Aww.. isn't Christine the best singer you've ever heard?? Just love her and how her voice and sound like a 5 year old!!! Congratulations on winning her first tony with this musical as well!! GO Christine!!

Snoopy the musical

FINALLY!!! the last project of PDE2 has ended. Not feeling really secure about Jude's remarks... I mean, she's just like Simon Cowell! Can't she just digs up every fail point you have! SERIOUSLY!!! just lk simon! even if its a small point she just... well complains!! i mean come on' there's no good point from her once you blow up one small part. Feel so damn bad about it! Now i really m hopping to pass this sub. i don wanna see her face ever again!!! And did i hear her mocking my name???!!!! she better not be.... 

Anyway forget about that, let's just see the musical for the day shall we?? Well i didn't know what songs should i listen to, so i went on searching for my all time favorite cartoon, SNOOPY!!!! u know, the beagle with the "BIG NOSE" who's black n white and always just sleeps on his dog house's roof?? Yup, that's him! And so, was searching for a good song to hear, till i stumble upon this.



This song really means alot. If just one person believes in you, there's bound to be someone else who's there for you as well. That's why you have friends and family, who will always be right there for you whenever you need them. You can't say that no one believes in you, cause if you trust yourself, that one person will surely lead to a second... and a third.. and a fourth... and so on....

Snoopy the musical contains a whole lot more of songs which are not only meaningful but funny too. Its been brought onto broadway and west end in London. I personally think the cartoon version is WAY MUCH more better as i just don't like seeing my snoopy being portraited by a human be-ing! But overall its a nice one.

There's another musical version of snoopy called "You're a good man charlie brown" which was done back in the 80's and revived on Broadway in 1999 where anthony rap(from rent) and Christine Chenoweth (from wicked) were in the show. That i'm gonna talk more on my next blog. enjoy the song guys! XD

Rainy day = Sleepy day

Awww... ain't that cute?? Comfy bear slippers to keep me warm, just like Johnny's cow slippers to keep his... (BOY I'VE GOTTA STOP WATCHING THAT KIDS SHOW) LOL! yup, its been raining WHOLE DAY!!! in fact i think it just stopped a couple of minutes ago...  How BLOODY COLD the weather is right now?? OMG!

Anyway, it rained so hard this morning.. i actually feel kinda relief not going to tut, i mean come on! It's so COLD!!! who would wanna get out of bed? After the night where i actually slept at 4am just to rush up with one light concept!! Forget it.

So ok, skipped tut, got ready to go for the next one since i wasted my whole nights of energy just to come up with two concepts for a task light and a ambient light, and who would have seen this coming! I was changing in my room, choosing the right clothes to wear, i mean, its raining, its cold, n the class is like just 2 hours, why waste so much energy making up and wearing  a nice dress anyway? So finally put something sloppy on, wear my BIG HUGE glasses, was so ready to wear my socks on.. n "POOF".. that's right, power failure. LOL!!!! so, should i go to class?? OF CAUSE! i mean there's nothing TO DO right now. So got ready to step out, and.... TINA CALLED!!! and to my joy.. she said that the library is in darkness as well! LOL!!

Anyway, still got to the building and had a talk with christine, and we still have no idea what design we're going to go for!!! And Prachi wasn't there anyway so we decided to just go off and discuss it on tuesday. Ok, so spent like 30 min in the library looking at www.theoatmeal.com *it's a damn good site for relaxation if you ask me, especially the way he wrote how STUPID twilight is... I couldn't agree more!!*, and after that went of to have dinner. Well actually its lunch and dinner, (had like one bowl of cereal at 1pm, oh wait, if it was 1... so.. argh... who cares)

And on my way there, the wind was so strong (it wasn't that strong went i walked to class! XP) that my LOVELY PINK UMBRELLA just SNAP! yup, the metal bit in it just SNAP! now unless i have a welding machine, there's no way i could possibly fix that umbrella. cause it didn't just snap at the joint, it snap RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the joint! who the hell is able to fix that?! so now, i'm one umbrella short, and i have to use the blue one instead..... T.T (i don't want to use it, just makes me wanna puke thanks to nai nai!) 

Oh look, it started raining again!! oh wait, it just stopped again! OH COME ON! rain in the morning! i'm so bloody cold right now! pls... just.. argh who cares, it's a saturday anyway, no class... just tons of report to do.. i should be doing it right now but, IT A FRIDAY NIGHT! who does stuff on friday nights???! (if i go on with this attidute i just hope i can pass every test! I don need a distinction.. just a pass will do.. XD i'm not that greedy: ) )

Mid-sem break!!

OH FINALLY!!!! its here!!!!! Mid sem break!!! n guess what??? THE WATCH PROJECT IS FINALLY DONE!! yup! after all those nights of not sleeping.. i finally get to rest in peace.. for at least one week that is! LOL...

Looking forward to sleeping for a week, cause after that, new group assignment will be popping in.. n oh boy!!! but thank god we have 4 person in a group instead of 3. Cause Steve here didn't had a group and well, we forgot to place prachi's name on the paper (since she called int eh last min to tell us that she wanted to join our group) so.... there you go! wonder what hard work will we have this term. hmmmm....

Well anyway, still looking up for musicals to share on my blog. Yea i know, i just became a musical freak! I'm so in love with Broadway right now!! hope i can be up there some day... ahhh... *starts dreaming* ah~

But, i'm still gonna share one thing with you guys!! Yup. Now i know alot of you are gonna say "this is so childish!" or "that's for kids!" but, well.. i sorta have this rush of becoming a puppeteer right now after seeing Kevin Clash working on set like that. THAT'S SO COOL!!!! and ya, i've tried holding my hand up in the sky for the past week, for at least 15 min, n hey~ i'm so getting use to it right now!! LOL~ now i only need is a puppet lk ELMO to try on my hand. LOL!!!!

BSB and sesame street = prefect song!!! and i really wanna work on sesame street... just think how many famous people you get ot meet everyday!!! WONDERFUL!!!

MAKE A CHANGE!

Have you guys heard of the newest case in Mal?? The one where the HM called her student to go back to China because of a Puasa thing???

I have to admit, i was angry and shock at first, watching the HM saying something like this to her students. I mean who wouldn't? But what made me really mad was the fact that someone started a Facebook page on this issue. What's the real purpose of making a facebook pg in the first place?? To add more oil to the fire? I mean, just looking at our country itself, isn't it bad enough? How much more oil can we add in to blow up the whole country?

We were all born in this country for a reason. We were not born to fight among each other. We were not born to hate each other.We were born pure and clean. And over the years we were taught to love and care for one another, to help those who are in need, to be strong, to think rationally, to unite to stand as one. So why are we doing this? Why do we hate each other so much? Chinese asking Malays to "eat babi", Malays asking Chinese to go home. PEOPLE!! our ancestors fought so hard to gain our country's independence. All the hardship they've been through, all those hard work they've done, the blood and sweat they sacrificed for us. Aren't we just throwing it away?  If they could have stood as one to gain our independence, why can't we stand as one to uphold the country?

As the next generation of the country, we should stand together as one. ONE MALAYSIA was born so that we could unite as ONE. Let the elder generation do whatever they want. We can't change their mind sets. Their hearts and minds are so deeply implanted its impossible for them to change at all. But we, as the younger ones, we can make a difference!

Make a change, don't let little things like this take over your emotion, and set your minds on stuff. Be strong, know what's right. Know what's best! Treat others the way you want to be treated. So get together and MAKE A CHANGE. One spark starts a fire, one pebble can start a wave. No matter who you are and where you come from, change your mind set, and believe that WE, and those who are younger then us can MAKE A CHANGE!

The Muppets take Manhattan~

OK.. looks u guys, know how i;ve been introducing musicals in my past few blogs?? Well this time, It's the MUPPETS turn! And no, I'm not talking about sesame street, I'm talking about THE MUPPET SHOW muppets. You knowm the one with Kremit and Piggy and Gonzo and Sweddish cheft and all the oh yes! FOZZIE! and how can we forget this muppets? Huh?

Well maybe some of you won't know who the muppets are, but these guys are like one of the Best shows i've watch since i was a little kid. Well i was attracted with Sesame St at first, then i came to knew kermit, and from kermit i knew the muppets and from there i knew avenue q and johnny and the sprites and.. Oh i'm just a Muppet fan since i was a young kid!!! My mom knows how obsess i am with these muppet characters. Even my dad can't stand watching me sitting infront of the tv, watching "Play with me Sesame" (oh come.. ernie and bert are like one of the BEST characters in sesame street!)

So, i didn't knwo why, but i reloaded the show again on youtube, and i came across this video again! And i would LOVE to intro to you, MUPPETS TAKE OVER MANHATTAN! yup, its a musical alrite! With its fabulous songs and wonderful puppetry. A big screen show like this is definately worth your time watching! And even better news!! THE MUPPETS ARE RELEASING A NEW SHOW ON 2011!! OMG! I've gotta watch that!!! wonder what show would that be?? I hope its something intersting!!! I mean, The JIm Henson spirit will always remain in the muppets right??

Sabrina's birthday

Wow.. week two is over... that was fast!!!! Well... won't be long now till i get that degree~ I hope... Machine dynamics is killing me!! thanks to the lecture... yup.. i finally found another YAC!!! Gosh his class is boring.. not only that.. no one even knows what the hell is he teaching.. AT ALL!! I'm serious... now i really hope i'll pass this sub.. GEZZ...
anyway.. it was sabrina's birthday last friday! yea.. friday the 13... balck friday...and i managed to get almost everyone from HSC 08 together to celebrate her birthday! isn't that sweet of me??!! LOL.So, we were surpose to take her to this Faraari Restaurant as she said she wanted to have pasta/spegati on her birthday... Actually she wanted noodles but thn.. pasta's a nice replacement.. XD anyway, we went down lygon st.. n wow.. i think there were 5 police cars parked outside some shops... we didn't know what happened. All tv stations were there as well. With camera's standing by. Yea.. it was a pretty awesome site, (for me). We all thought it was a bank roberry, as well, some policemen were walking in and out of the bank. So we just walked along... didn't care much.. and went into another restaurant instead (as we couldn't find that restaurant Sabby was talking about). We had gelato after that, my was that YUMMY!!!!

And so... i went back.. told my mom about the incident and she sent over a link.. a news... about a MURDERER CASE!!! SO IT WASN'T A ROBBERY! IT WAS A MURDERER!!! and i was there?? at the scene of the crime?? CSI live!! right infront of me?? of.. thank god there wasn't any dead bodies around.. otherwise i think i might need a psychologist! thank god it happend at 4pm.. whn i was still at uni... (yea.. class ends at 5.30... i hate that) Really it was black friday after all.... or.. should say sabby's birthday luck canceled out the BLACKNESS.. ? well, at least we all are save home now.

And last sunday, was open day.. and we had the exact same open day as melbourne uni! how did that happen?? WE'RE LOSING CUSTOMERS HERE PEOPLE! But still, had lots of fun. Stayed there whole day(6 hours to be exact), answering questions and stuff. It was wonderful. Got another new t-shirt as well. XD I just love open days. Its the only day where u get to steal other people's ideas and stuff. Isn't that amazing?? N i totally forgotten to take pictures that day. How silly was I??

Anyway, now mom's telling me that she caught a mouse this morning.. (DAMN IT WAS CUTE). And she had to call the fire department cause of a snake in aunty jen's place! HEY... Why do all the fun stuff happens right after i leave??!! thank god it was a mouse, not a rat.. otherwise i think mom would have SCREAMED even louder! well pictures of that you'll need to see my mom's fb...

Back In ausie~

Yup, I'm here. In my room. Waiting for tomorrow to come. A whole new semester, and a whole lot of stressing to start. And yes, i finally got back my beg, which by the way didn't followed me on to my next flight to Mel (thanks to the pilot that flew MH1116, who delayed the flight for 20 min!!!) Well, i'll have to say thank god i didn't miss my flight, otherwise i'll be reaching here at i donno 1am?? right in the middle of the night?!

So classes starts to tomorrow.. and where in the world m i gonna get the mood to get into class tmr?? My head's still thinking about "Johnny and the Sprites" on ASTRO! and my Oprah show... Oh my.. i'm missing these shows already!! T.T

Well, at least i got to meet my mom's boss. Hope after that LONG talk he'll be giving my mom some off day. Mom's working too hard! n by the looks of it, chances are going to be really really REALLY SLIM! (still can't believe he's such a good looking guy. Too bad he's OLD! with a 22 year daugther having a son of her own.... XD poor guy) If he would only offer me a job in my mom's company, that would be GOOD! I'll be my mom's little cute assistance... that might happen.. LOL

Oh ya.. and its open day this sunday! YIPEE!!! sitting there and having fun again... its definatly gonna be a FUN day! telling all those year 11 year 12 students how horrifying this course is!!! LOL. Christine should change the t-shirt design. At least we get a new one! LOL.. can't wait till sunday gets here!! ah...

And how the hell did tina get into SSAA?? i'm gonna ask her to let them let me in.. XD i'm so sneaky aren't i?? LOL. I know i'm bad... who cares.. i'm so into all these social work. what more can i ask? XD

Going back to mel....

Tomorrow's the big day, school's starting this monday so i have to get back. I promise myself not to cry, as i know i'll be back again. I know i'll be missing my astro... A LOT!! ah.. i really really really don wanna leave my astro behind, i really don wanna go back and get 3 months of torcher!

But thinking about it, it's just 1.5 years left. I really want my degree as well, so i can presue what i really want in live! YES! my dream!!! LOL~

Anyway, i'm thinking about writting a small book/ script kids. I mean, seeing today society, just being back in malaysia, my lord how much have i complained!!! It's totally useless to change the way our people in our country think right now, not to say that i'm racist or anything but it is totally useless changing the way they think. I mean just look at our country, its totally in a big hole! How do we citizens climb out of it?? by running away? why is it that so many parents are asking their young children to study hard and look for a job outside the country? Isn't this a good sign that our country is getting worst?! till our own parents even don't want to to LIVE here anymore?

I know writing a book may seem crazy! i mean where the hack m i gonna find the time to write something which are gonna help kids think right? n positive? learning about the right moral values and stuff. Watching johnny and the sprites gave me an inspiration that kids should be more lk them. U know, not being so racist and stuff, as well as to learn to be more tolerant. Its not impossible to change the world, is just a matter of weather we want to or not.

I;m not sure what i'm gonna do next, but seriously, this country, this world needs a change. And we as the young generation can do it! i believe i can! and i will try changing it! (man i'm talking lk a politician!) Good luck with my book~ @@

Does she deserve to win???

Ok... This is Miss USA California, 2009. And after watching this video, I really feel sad about the world we are in right now. I really can't believe there are people like her!

So ok, she disagrees on Gay marriages, and she wants to say what she thinks is right. But to say it in a way like that?! Now how the hell can you go onto another news show and say "I don't feel wrong about saying that. If i were to be given a second chance, i would still say the same thing." !

And worst of all, how could she act as if she's the boss on Larry King's interview!!! Just because of one offensive question she walks out of the interview just like that??!!! Now that's what you call Immature and Dump!

I mean seriously, not to say that what she's saying is wrong, i mean, i do agree on gay marriages, but i think that if she would disagree on a point, couldn't she had said it in a better way?? Like "i think love is much more important than marriage,  as marriage is just a next step in a relationship. So therefore, so long as we love each other, nothing else really matters in live. Marriage or no marriage makes no difference." Can't u at least answer in a way where you could voice your opinion and at the same time not offence anyone??!!! For heaven sakes its an Q n A segment! Is the time where you use your head to answer!! GEEZ!

New sem here i come!!

i know.. my holidays are gonna be over soon. Believe it or not school actually starts next week!!! ya.. i'm actually flying back to aus this friday!!! time to say so-long to my beloved Johnny and the sprites on astro... i better start saving those videos on u tube to save up my internet speed... HURRAY FOR REAL PLAYER!

Yes i do feel like crying. For leaving my beautiful blue room, and starting of a new sem. But at the same time, i feel... excited. I mean i actually got through so much!!! 2 more years to go and i'm all done! and if i can do, maybe just one and a half years to go! Yes!!! i want my square hat! i want to have my graduation ceremony as soon as possible!!! Looking at those pictures of those people who went to TAR college in penang... having a BIG CONVO just after graduating from DIPLOMA! i mean is so NOT FAIR!!! i've taken years to study... and i have to wait till i get a DEGREE to get a big CONVO???!!!! well my parents are planning to visit me 2 years later... in fact the WHOLE family.. ya.. including ee and everyone are planing to come on over to my convo!! wow everyone has such faith in my on graduating!

i know i can graduate... i know i can.. but how fast can i do it?? will i be able to finish it in one and a half years time?? can i save one sem??? i really want to... anyway, AUS HERE I COME!!!! that degree is gonna be mine!!! Pack up folks... everyone.. keep your hopes up and come on by to melbourne cause i'll be here waiting for all of u! hard work!! I'm ready!!! ^^

Yup.. its my birthday alrite... n boy.. what a normal day it has been. The only thing special was that i got to eat sakae for lunch and canton-i for dinner... n had to wait like 30 mins in the car till dad gets here. Boy was he slow! walking out from the plane... = = took him lk ages just to get up the stairs to mcd! oh ya.. we had an ice cream cake yesterday.. ah mah's birthday... thank god our birthdays are just one day after the other..

And of cause second of all... no friends to celebrate with.. okok.. wq did come by and we had lunch together. and ya.. that was pretty much it! yup... how lonely was that? well dad did treat me for canton-i, forcing me to eat lk...... THIS MUCH! n wow.. i don't think i'm gonna have breakfast tmr! (btw, the pigeon's meat was very interesting...)

and third of all... ok.. how many people are getting BF's and GFs now??? oh pls.. stop it already! FUCK IT! i want someone special by my side well.... oh come on... who doesn't?? even ROD wants someone special by his side (Rod's this gay republican from avenue q if you are wondering). Whn will he come on by? or rather will he ever come on by? falling in love with one dude last year nearly tore my heart into a TRILLION PIECES! oh come on! i've been wishing for a guy to be able to be by my side through out uni, so WHERE THE HELL IS HE??!!

Legally Blonde the musical

And the musical for today... LEGALLY BLONDE!!! okok.. i know lots of you must have watch this show before. It even came up with a sequel, but hey... the musical ain't that bad.. infact u can watch the whole entire show on utube! isn't that great?

ok.. so its about this blonde girl, elle who well, boyfriend broke up with her cause she's this "stupid blonde". And to prove to him that she isn't all that stupid, she got her way into harvard law school... (how i wish i could be in there.. yeah right!) and well the whole love story just starts from there.

The musical is presented in a very comedy kind of way. You'll be laughing and smiling your way through the show. Besides that, the lovy-duvy part is as romantic as it can be. So, add comedy and romance into a musical and you get... AN AWESOME SHOW TO WATCH!

And here's the first part of the show, to the song OH MY GOD!!! where elle and her girls picks out a dress as she thinks her bf is gonna propose to her... XD its one of my fav songs so enjoy!!

Almost there~

Oh my, its the 21st of july.... my how time flies. Just with a blink of an eye, and i'm gonna leave my house once again. And well, i might not be coming back for a while after that.

Anyway, that's not important. what's more important is that.. oh i don't even know how to say this. To you young people out there, you might think that finally being a grown up is WONDERFUL!! FREEDOM! well, infact, its not. All those wonderful things that you were thought whn u were young, you know, to dream hard and your dreams will come true, just believe in yourself cause everyone's speacial. you know, stuff like that. Well whn you finally grow up and step into the real world, you'll fianlly realise that growing up isn't all about fun n games, it isn't about dreams and hope... no its nothing like that at all. infact, if you were told that how the real world was like, you would never want to grow up.

And me, finally turning 20.. leaving my teen age years, i don feel old, i just feel that, well more and more suffering is coming my way.  20... feels lk a whole new life is about to start. Facing it its hard, but what else can you do? one more week till i get there, i really hope that that day never comes... oh who am i kidding? i just don wanna face the real world so fast. What happened to the times where your parents were there to back you up for everything. They were there whenever u need thm. they were there whn u need a hug, or just an ear.

Shrek the Musical

ok.. and the musical i'm gonna intro today is.... that's right.. SHERK THE MUSICAL!!! never heard of it huh?

Well, let's say if you're not in the states thn there a high chance that you'll have no idea that there is a Musical version of Sherk. We all know the show Sherk, 1,2,3 and 4. And we all know that the 4th show is the last, but the musical is simply.. AMAZING!!! it even got nominated for a tony award in 2009 (didn't win cause billy eliot took almost everything last year) anyway, it's truly wonderful. The story's basically based on the first show, with all your fav. characters like Sherk, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Lord Farquad and of cause, the lovely Pinocchio. 

the story is exactly as what you get in the first show, only with a touch of musical sensation in it! With songs like Big Bright Beautiful World, Morning Person, the Ballad of Farquad and yes, who could forget the most amazing song sung by all the fairy tale creatures, FREAK FLAG! Adding on its amazing special effects put together on stage, this truly is a remarkable musical.

And how did i get to know this musical?? John tartaglia of cause.. LOL! yes i know.. i'm starting to fall in love with this 32 year old gay dude, this guy is just so talented! anyway, he plays the role of Pinocchio, the so call "leader of the fairy tale creatures", but he too plays parts like the magic mirror as well does all the puppetry work in the show, including the big dragon! yes.. the huge dragon is controlled by him... isn't it AWESOME?? Suton Foster, who plays the role of princess fiona, is also another one amazing actress on stage! yes she is!!! she just brings the whole musical to laughter! now we all know that fiona's not your typical ordinary princess, the Foster just plays the role so well!
